Audio Lesson: Exploring the Insert Function Feature in Excel on Mac with Voiceover

This lesson will walk you through two ways of using the Insert Function feature in Excel on Mac with Voiceover, to write functions into your worksheets. It assumes familiarity with using the basics of Excel, as well as how to write basic formulas into worksheets.

Here's what you'll learn:

1. How to search for a function within the insert function dialog box (or what is sometimes known as the Formula Builder), and apply that function to any cells within your worksheet.
2. How to build a function after having searched for it, view the rsult, and change the function that you built (without leaving the formula builder).
3. We'll then conclude by learning how to explore the list of functions available in the dialog box, select your function of choice, read about what it's used for (from right within the dialog box), and apply that function to data that you have within your worksheet.
