Audio Lesson-Getting Started with Microsoft Word on Mac with Voiceover

This audio lesson will walk you through some of the most common skills that one would like to know when they are just starting to learn how to use Microsoft Word on a mac with Voiceover. Together, here's what we'll learn:

1. 1. All of the buttons that display on the start screen when word first launches or opens.
2. All of the different ways you can create a new document, including how to choose from templates offered.
3. We'll create a new document and get used to typing some text into it.
4. We'll learn how to read through and edit what we've typed.
5. We'll learn how to control whether Voiceover reads out punctuation, whether it speaks numbers as words or digits, or what it does when it encounters a capital letter, or how it handles font and formatting changes during document navigation.
6. We'll learn about typing echo, which refers to how to control whether voiceover speaks characters as you type them, whether it speaks only words, or only characters, or both.
7. We'll learn how to save the document we created, and all the different ways you can quickly open it back up again.
8. We'll learn how to do a word count, how to double space your document, or how to adjust the alignment of text that you've typed (such as making words centered on the page, or aligning it to the left or right margin).
